We offer a full range of primary care for all age groups, in a place that is convenient for you - right in your neighborhood. Camden Physicians has offices in Plymouth, Maple Grove and Minneapolis.

Our approach to your care

As your primary care clinic, and as part of the family of North Memorial Clinics, we work with you to ensure you receive the maximum benefit from our services and other resources at North Memorial. Our clinic is your connection to a highly trained physician who can monitor your health with appropriate screenings and routine exams, as well as provide chronic care management and treatment of minor injuries, cold and flu.

Camden Physicians accepts most major health care insurance plans, and we will file your insurance claims for you. Just bring your insurance card each time you visit.

Our Providers

 

Kristin H. Haugan, MD

Kristin Haugan is a graduate of St. Olaf College. She received her medical degree from the University of Minnesota and completed her residency at the University of Minnesota in the North Memorial family practice program.
She is board certified in family medicine.
She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, Minnesota Medical Association and Minnesota Academy of Family Physicians.
She enjoys full spectrum family medicine. She has been at Camden Physicians - Minneapolis since 1996.
Her hobbies include outdoor activities, reading and meditation.
 

Elaine R. Hirschfield, MD

Elaine Hirschfield is a family practice physician with special interests in women's health, obstetrics, nutrition, parenting and diabetes.
She received a B.S. in psychology from the University of Michigan and completed her medical degree, internship and residency in family medicine at the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
She is board certified in family medicine.
She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Her hobbies include reading, kickboxing and fitness classes.
 

William L. Youmans, MD

William Youmans received his medical degree from Michigan State University.
He completed his residency in the University of Minnesota Family Medicine Residency Program.
He is board certified in family medicine.
His memberships include the American Academy of Family Physicians, Hennepin Medical Society, Minnesota Academy of Family Physicians and Minnesota Medical Association.
His clinical specialties are cardiology and stress tests.
Other interests include aviation and wilderness travel.
 

Kristen Helvig, MD

Kristen Helvig is a family medicine physician with clinical interests in nutrition, preventive medicine, obstetrics and education.
She has undergraduate degrees in English Writing and German from Concordia College in Moorhead.
She received her medical degree from the University of Minnesota and did her residency through the North Memorial family medicine residency program.
She is board certified in family medicine.
In her spare time, she enjoys biking, running, camping, hiking, travel, cooking and spending time with her husband.
