Certified Nurse Midwives
Certified Nurse Midwives are registered nurses who have had additional training in obstetrics and gynecology for two years and have passed a certification examination given by the American College of Nurse Midwives. Nurse midwives handle uncomplicated pregnancies, normal deliveries and well-woman care.
