One health family, keeping each other safer
At North Memorial Health, the wellness and safety of our team members and customers is always our top priority. As a health family, we are doing our part to ensure a safer environment for all, and we are asking everyone to do their part, too. In order to do that, we have developed these key principles to follow.
This isn’t just a fashion statement…it will help prevent the spread of infection and protect the people around you. If you do not have a mask, ask a team member when you arrive and one will be provided to you. Remember, masks are an extra precaution, they do not replace social distancing.
Cleaning and disinfecting is standard practice for our team members, and we ask that our customers practice good hand hygiene also. It’s simple: wash your hands, as often as possible, for at least 20 seconds. We have also increased our cleaning efforts in high traffic areas, to help control the spread of infection.
If you have a fever of 100.0° or greater or two or more other common COVID-19 symptoms (cough, sore throat, headache, shortness of breath, body aches, loss of taste or smell, nausea/vomiting or diarrhea) you will be asked to return home and reschedule your appointment or procedure.
We promise to continue to deliver outstanding customer service while adhering to these principles, as part of our commitment to you and your health family.
For reference, that’s the length of a full-sized llama. Don’t worry about seeming anti-social, they will understand. To help ensure that this is possible, we are rearranging high traffic areas like lobbies, and cafes to be social-distance friendly. Remember, an air hi-five and finger point goes a long way!
