Margaret Gavian, PhD, LP
Approach To Care
Dr. Gavian treats depression and anxiety disorders, including PTSD and mind-body interventions like meditation and mindfulness. She helps customers with chronic stress and illness using cognitive-behavioral therapy and psychological assessment.
As part of the Center for Mind-Body Medicine’s training faculty, Dr. Gavian has worked extensively with customers who have experienced trauma including veterans, sexual abuse/assault survivors, refugees, and those living/working in international areas of conflict.
Dr. Gavian is trained in evidence-based interventions like Prolonged Exposure, Cognitive Processing Therapy, CBT, DBT and ACT.

In her free time, Dr. Gavian is a busy mother of two young boys and enjoys cooking, traveling and exploring the outdoors with her family and their dog.
