Approach To Care
Dr. Jessica J. Kolb strives to serve compassionate care to each individual. She spent time serving in Peace Corps prior to medical school and has spent time volunteering in hospitals in Haiti, Guatemala, Liberia and Ethiopia. These experiences have provided a base for working with diverse populations and empathy for individuals.
Dr. Kolb has a special interest in women’s healthcare. She completed a fellowship in OB care and gynecological clinical care. She believes in involving the patient in decision making throughout the pregnancy and birthing experience. She plans to do her best to be there for every delivery for her patients! In addition to seeing prenatal care patients, she will see newborns and children in her practice.

Dr. Kolb is originally from Maple Grove. A fun fact is that she was born at North Memorial Health Hospital! She went away to residency in California but came back to be around her community in Minnesota including family and friends. She also missed having lakes and the four seasons!
For hobbies she enjoys running the most. She started this about 15 years ago as a way to get healthy. She soon started to run marathons and has completed 8 marathons (so far). She also enjoys hiking. She has gone all over the world hiking including the Incan Trail (in Peru) and Kilimanjaro (in Tanzania) and the Tour of the Mont Blanc (in France). You may see her running or hiking along the Mississippi in her free time.
She also enjoys gardening, camping, playing piano and reading.
