Approach To Care
Dr. Iris Medini’s approach to care includes learning about her customer’s histories and how life events shape their personal experiences. She practices a collaborative approach to care in which individuals are educated about their diagnoses and treatment options, as well as being active participants in their treatment course. Dr. Medini believes in the importance of therapy and encourages many of her customers to see a therapist in conjunction with medication treatment.
Dr. Medini encourages her customers to incorporate lifestyle modifications that will help them to manage and decrease symptoms. She consults with other providers involved with her customer’s care. Dr. Medini is most experienced and interested in depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, OCD, psychosis and PTSD.

Dr. Medini’s interests include: horseback riding, ballroom dancing, exploring restaurants in the Twin Cities with friends, attending concerts of all genres, traveling and volunteering at the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center.
