James Young, MD
Approach To Care
Following his grandmother’s advice to always communicate in easy to understand, layman’s terms, Dr. Young views himself as both a doctor and a customer. His goal is to ensure that customers in pain, sick, suffering, or just plain scared don’t have to Google translate his explanation of what is wrong. He is more than happy to take the extra time to explain what’s going on as many times as needed to ensure everyone clearly understands. He is at his customer’s service.
Dr. Young’s academic interests include hospital medicine, obesity and bariatric medicine, trauma and critical care medicine and disaster medicine.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Biology – Bradley University, Peoria, IL

Dr. Young enjoys reading (non-fiction and some political and military thrillers from fiction), running, interval training, snowboarding, astronomy and spending time with his family. And, the occasional Netflix binge!
