Mended heart iconJoin North Memorial Health, national and local subject matter experts, and community partners at our 2nd annual Trauma Symposium.

At this free event, attendees will:

  • Build their knowledge about the types of traumas, principles of trauma-informed approaches, and leave with insights and tools to better practice trauma-informed care.
  • Learn from the life story of a trauma survivor and increase understanding about practices that can be applied in healthcare and social service settings to help trauma survivors heal and move forward with hope.
  • Foster the recognition of secondary traumatic stress among providers working with traumatized populations and learn strategies for self-care practices including breathing, movement, rest, and mindfulness.
