Event Information

Members of this group understand the challenges of a lung cancer diagnosis, and work together to make sense of diagnosis, treatments and life’s challenges. The evening’s agenda rotates between educational topics and group discussion.

Topics include:

  • Managing fatigue and pain
  • Adjusting to a “new normal”
  • The importance of communication
  • Coping with treatment

Please call 763-581-2804, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. A representative will register you and your family or support person for education and support classes. The representative may be able to answer questions about the classes and groups or direct you to the right person. A one-time registration is required from participants to help our staff prepare for room space, beverage planning, special disability needs of attendees or in the event the education and support group is cancelled. If you are not able to register for your first group meeting please come anyway. However, you still need to register for the paid programs listed in this brochure. Please check in with the group leader upon arrival.
