Event Information

Mindful grieving is a support group open to anyone who has lost a loved one and is interested in investigating mindfulness as an aid on the path toward recovery. We will explore the practices of meditation and compassion in addition to sharing our journeys. It is recommended that participants are at least two months beyond their loss.

Facilitator Julie Corty, MA counseling psychology, has been studying mindfulness and related contemplative practices for several years in the Midwest and both coasts and has been a home-visit hospice volunteer.
