Aphasia Caregiver Support Group

This group was originally offered to the caregivers of participants in the North Memorial Health Intensive Aphasia Program. We recognize that the need for support does not end with the program. We are pleased to now offer an ongoing weekly group to ALL who care for a loved one with aphasia. Our mission is to provide a safe place for caregivers to find support amongst each other. The group will host occasional speakers.

Weekly topics include:

  • Communicating with people with aphasia
  • Relationship changes
  • Navigating therapy
  • Self care
  • Community resources
