Intensive Cognitive-Communication Program

Rehabilitation services for individuals with cognitive-communication impairments are primarily offered through acute inpatient programs. We recognize that the need for therapy does not end with a hospital stay. North Memorial Health offers an intensive outpatient program that is designed to support adults with brain injuries who are working towards community reintegration.

  •  Motivated and fully committed to participate

This program is intended for individuals who experience cognitive-linguistic deficits that impact their ability to function at home or in the community. It is the ideal option for individuals who recently completed an inpatient rehabilitation program, or do not benefit from a traditional therapy schedule (3-5 hours per week).

Daily Treatment:

  • Individual therapy with a speech language pathologist
  • One hour of therapy using computers and/or technologies
  • Thirty minutes of structured communication activities
  • One hour of group therapy directed by speech language pathologists

2019 Program Dates:
