Maple Grove Hospital is a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) providing critical care for extremely premature to full-term babies. In partnership with Minnesota Neonatal Physicians, we provide immediate, round-the-clock support and expert medical care and use forward-thinking technology, including brain-wave monitoring, respiratory support, and total body cooling when needed, to take care of very sick babies. From breathing support and learning to eat to full-term babies in need of infection monitoring, our NICU team works to support every baby’s individual medical needs while including the entire family in the care plan and as much of the daily caretaking as possible. Additionally, our NICU transport team offers safe transfers from across Minnesota and surrounding states.
