(Robbinsdale, MN – August 2, 2016) – Today, North Memorial Health Care announced that it has opened its first pediatric clinic in its North Memorial Health Care Medical Office Building located within Maple Grove Hospital. Five pediatricians will provide expert care to patients, newborns to 18 years of age, and are dedicated to serving families and helping children grow into healthy adults. This new Pediatric Services location also offers easy access to acute pediatric hospital care available at Maple Grove Hospital.

Pediatric Services, is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, with walk-in appointments available. Urgent care walk-in appointments are available in the same location from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week. And when a child’s needs are even more serious than urgent care, Maple Grove Hospital offers emergency pediatric care close to home.
“At a moment’s notice, Maple Grove Hospital is there for families, providing emergency care and treatment for unexpected illnesses and injuries,” said Andy Cochrane, CEO, Maple Grove Hospital. “Through our partnership with the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital, children receive expert care from hospital-based pediatricians and bridge communication with primary care physicians when they’re admitted.”
For parents who have concerns or questions about their child’s health and just want to connect with a provider about pediatric needs, North Memorial also offers nurse line and triage through text and chat, in addition to the traditional phone services.
