North – Maple Grove Hospital has been named one of Modern Healthcare’s 100 Top Hospitals® of 2026, ranking #12 in the Medium Community Hospital category. This national recognition shows how our care measures up to some of the best hospitals in the country – reflecting our commitment to quality, efficiency, and exceptional patient care.

North Memorial Health received a score of 85 out of 100 and the designation of “LGBTQ+ Healthcare Equality High Performer” in the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2026 Healthcare Equality Index (HEI) – an honor we also achieved in 2024.
The HEI is the nation’s foremost benchmarking survey of healthcare facilities on policies and practices dedicated to the equitable treatment and inclusion of their LGBTQ+ patients, visitors and employees. In 2026, 750 healthcare facilities participated in the HEI survey, and 345 of those earned “High Performer” designation.

We’re also proud to be one of only four hospitals in the Twin Cities to earn this distinction – reflecting our unwavering commitment to delivering safe, compassionate, and exceptional care to every patient, every day.

Four North Memorial Health providers – nominated by their peers in the community – have been selected for Mpls.St.Paul Magazine’s annual Rising Stars Award, honoring doctors who have had significant achievements early in their medical careers.

North Memorial Health received the Minnesota Hospital Association’s 2025 Innovation in Patient Care award for our Lung Nodule/Screening Program. This honor recognizes the multidisciplinary collaboration across IT, Population Health, Thoracic Surgery, Interventional Pulmonology, and Primary Care.
Together, these teams have built a comprehensive, team-based model for lung cancer screening and care — delivering earlier diagnoses, minimally invasive treatments, and better outcomes for our patients.

These achievements highlight our teams’ dedication and commitment to providing exceptional care to our communities.

North – Robbinsdale Hospital
- Procedures or conditions: colon cancer surgery, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), diabetes, heart attack, stroke, lung cancer surgery, stroke, pacemaker, leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma.

North Memorial Health is a 2024 Press Ganey HX Pinnacle of Excellence Award® winner for patient experience at the Maple Grove Hospital NICU. This accolade represents our leadership in patient experience, as North Memorial Health drives year-over-year, sustained performance improvement.

North Memorial Health received the Minnesota Hospital Association’s 2024 Community Benefit award for our Black Women’s Breast Health Initiative. This initiative stemmed from a focus on eliminating disparities in breast health and encouraging breast cancer screenings for Black women in the communities surrounding North – Robbinsdale Hospital through direct outreach for scheduling mammograms, incorporating community education to help close the gap.
