North Memorial Health offers outpatient rehabilitation services focused on helping you recover from an injury or illness. With therapy services available in both Robbinsdale and Maple Grove, our rehabilitation team is comprised of occupational therapists, physical therapists and speech language pathologists.

  • Traumatic brain injury (TBI)
  • Stroke
  • Spinal cord injury (SCI)
  • Vertigo
  • Orthopedic injuries
  • Head, neck or throat cancer
  • Lymphedema
  • Breast cancer rehab
  • Dizziness and imbalance
  • Multiple sclerosis (MS)
  • Parkinson’s disease
  • Pediatric patients with developmental/speech delay and/or autism spectrum disorder
  • Cognitive impairment

Services

Services offered include:

  • Occupational therapy, physical therapy and speech-language therapy
  • Parkinson’s specific LSVT BIG and LSVT LOUD treatment
  • Pediatric occupational therapy and speech-language therapy
  • Vestibular rehabilitation, including benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV)
  • Gender affirming voice therapy
  • Swallow evaluations
  • Lymphedema therapy and breast cancer rehabilitation
  • Cognitive Performance Test (CPT) to assist with recommendations regarding safety and independence in daily living activities.
  • Dry needling

Frequently Asked Questions

We require physician referrals for outpatient occupational, physical and/or speech therapy services. Typically, referrals are valid for up to one year unless otherwise specified by your physician. If you think you would benefit from outpatient rehabilitation and need a referral, make an appointment with your primary care doctor.

Please bring your ID, insurance card and any pertinent information that may assist your therapists in your care. If you are hard of hearing or visually impaired, it is also important to bring your hearing aids and glasses.

We accept most health insurance plans, including Aetna, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota, CIGNA, HealthPartners, Medica, Medicare, PreferredOne, United and many others.
