Visitor and Masking Guidelines

Visitors to all North Memorial Health locations must wear a mask at all times. We have updated our visitor guidelines to protect our team members, customers and the community in response to COVID-19.

Visitors must wear a MEDICAL GRADE MASK at all times – including customer rooms. A healthy visitor has had no exposure to COVID-19 and has not tested positive for COVID-19 within the last 10 days.

Visiting Hours: 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.

Any customer who is COVID-19 positive or suspected of having COVID-19: Two healthy, masked visitors age 5 and up are allowed to visit at a time. View our guidelines for visiting a patient with COVID-19.

Hospital Stays: Open; healthy, masked visitors age 5 and up are allowed to visit.

Visiting Hours: 24/7

  • Adults (18 and over): Two healthy, masked visitors at a time. A visitor may be any healthy person age 5 and over, only if they can wear a mask. Children who aren’t able to wear masks are not allowed to be visitors.
  • Pediatric (under 18): Two healthy, masked visitors at a time. One visitor must be a parent or legal guardian.
  • Compassionate Care: Evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

For adult customers: Visitors are limited to two healthy, masked visitors (we encourage customers to attend the appointment alone if they do not require assistance).

For pediatric customers (less than 18 years of age): Two healthy, masked legal guardians.

To prepare for your visit, the following safety guidelines are practiced:

  • COVID-19 screening upon arrival
  • Masks are required
  • Social distancing is encouraged

No visitors are permitted at this time.

Customers may have one clergy, community clergy member or community case manager in addition to other visitors listed.
