Raising awareness of the health and wellbeing outcomes of breastfeeding and the importance of supporting mothers to breastfeed for as long as they wish.
With over 5,000 babies born at North Memorial Health – Maple Grove Hospital in the past year alone, and over 60,000 since we opened in 2009, our Family Birth Center has a strong community of families with babies and young children.
That’s why we are pleased to invite you to join us on August 7 for a celebration of all things related to breastfeeding, as well as mother and child wellness. Dads and siblings are encouraged to come join in on the fun. Families will enjoy refreshments, breastfeeding education and assistance, activities, a baby café, door prizes, breastfeeding photos, vendor booths, and so much more!
Take a look at our schedule below for safety demos, presentations, and bingo games. And visit the various vendor booths and activities that are going on throughout the day.
