Our relationship with Humana is changing: Here’s what you need to know
North Memorial Health is ending its contract with Humana Medicare Advantage insurance, effective Dec. 31, 2024.
With this change, North Memorial Health locations will no longer be considered in-network for patients with Humana Medicare Advantage insurance.

Patients with Humana insurance may consider the following options when considering 2025 insurance plans:
- Patients may select a new insurance carrier of which North Memorial Health is in-network during the upcoming fall 2024 open enrollment period.
- Patients that wish to remain with Humana insurance can continue to receive out-of-network care at our locations, however this may lead to higher out-of-pocket costs.
Patients currently covered by Humana Medicare Advantage insurance will receive reminders of this upcoming change and instructions on how to select a new insurance plan during the upcoming Medicare Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) in Fall 2024.
