Dr. Joseph Van Camp approaches customers as individuals and tries to listen to their concerns and how a disease affects their lives. He makes recommendations for a care plan and then together decides on the best way to proceed for each individual. Dr. Nerenberg strives to deliver exceptional service and compassionate care to all his customers.
Dr. Prebonich has a special interest in musculoskeletal ultrasound evaluation and in performing ultrasound guided joint aspirations and injections.
Dr. Woodland aims to embrace the “family” part of being a family physician, dutifully fulfilling her role to take care of the entire family. In practicing obstetrics, she has had the honor of delivering many healthy babies – several of whom she has since watched grow as she continues to oversee their health along the way.
With a focus on guiding her customers to successful healthcare decision-making, Dr. Woodland works to provide them with the most up-to-date information and advice to coach them along. She prides herself in supporting them through not only the best experiences, but also the toughest times when they need her help the most.
Dr. Woodland’s practice involves pediatrics, OB/GYN, women’s health, mental health, internal medicine and geriatrics. She offers office procedures including mole removal, contraceptive options (such as Nexplanon, Mirena and Skyla IUDs), and evaluation and treatment of abnormal pap smears with colposcopy and LEEPs.
Dr. Horowitz is a neurologist who listens to his customers so he can provide the most accurate diagnosis and best care possible. He believes they are the most successful when they collaborate in a trusting and respectful manner.
In her over 25 years of experience as an infectious disease physician, Dr. Baken has learned the importance of listening. She strives to hear her customer’s facts, fears and experiences. By uncovering their needs, she is able to learn things about her customer’s experiences and issues that critically affect their health.

North Memorial Health – Blaine North
At North Memorial Health, we are one big family working together to provide healthcare the way it ought to be. Nurses are key members of our family. Like many, they make an impact with our customers and families day in and day out, tending to both their medical and non-medical needs.
We’re so proud of all of our nurses and the incredible work they do. Here is just one of our top-notch nurses we’re proud to call family.
Melissa Mendoza, RN, CEN, CFRN
“Knowing I have the potential to contribute to someone’s day through the platform of compassion has continued my inspiration to this profession.”
Growing up, Melissa Mendoza felt a calling to the nursing profession. Though there were no nurses in her immediate family, there were many healthcare professionals, first responders and police officers. Hearing about their work inspired her to get into public service, specifically nursing. She went to college and declared her major as nursing, but switched to marketing/management after a year. She completed that degree, but fell back into nursing when a friend got accepted to nursing school and convinced her to apply.
Mendoza started off her career as an ICU nurse, but landed a job in the emergency department at North Memorial Health and from there went on to become a flight nurse. Mendoza has had the opportunity to be in many roles, from nurse leadership, operations and outreach, but has always come back to being a flight nurse where she can be an advocate for customers and be an everyday leader fulfilling her sense of purpose.
