Mariah Benoit Doom is a physical therapist passionate about helping individuals restore function and redefine independence after neurologic injury. She is a strong advocate for adaptive fitness, spinal cord injury (SCI) research, and community education, and is dedicated to helping patients stay active and engaged in meaningful ways.

Mariah approaches physical therapy with a strong belief that care should be individualized, collaborative, and rooted in education to focus on restoring function and helping patients redefine what “normal” can look like after neurologic injury. She recognizes recovery is rarely about returning to an exact previous state but adapting movement and unlocking each patient’s potential for independence and quality of life. She prioritizes understanding each patient’s unique goals, lifestyle, and challenges.

Her experience as a physical therapist has shaped a style of care that blends evidence-based practice with a compassionate, patient-centered mindset. She emphasizes clear communication, ensuring patients understand not only what they are doing, but why. This empowers patients to take an active role in their recovery and builds confidence in managing their health long-term.
