Dr. Semahge strives to care for individuals holistically and believes strongly in the power of a listening ear, kindness and going the extra mile. She aims to provide comprehensive healthcare for people of all ages and is passionate about forming lifelong relationships with them. She has special interests in preventative medicine, chronic disease management, addiction medicine, refugee health and women’s care. Dr. Semahge hopes to form collaborative relationships with her patients in order to help them make informed decisions about their health while helping them navigate possible social, economic and cultural barriers to health.

Personal
Dr. Semahge is originally from Ethiopia and has now called Minnesota home for more than a decade. She is married to her husband Thomas, a local dentist, and loves spending time with her family and friends. Her hobbies include DIY home projects, cooking, reading and listening to podcasts. She also loves being part of the community at her local church, partnering with neighborhood organizations and has completed several mission trips internationally.
