Personal
Kira was born in Vietnam but grew up in the Twin Cities. She was taught from a young age the importance of work ethic, culture, and devotion to family. Due to her parents’ lack of fluency in the English language, she grew up watching her parents struggle while navigating a complex healthcare system. Her parents’ struggles played a key part in Kira’s decision for her career ambitions. As a nurse practitioner, she is committed to being there for her patients to help make their healthcare journey less daunting in hopes of making a positive impact on their care experience.
On a side note, Kira enjoys reading, traveling, hiking, walking her dog, trying different cuisines with her loved ones, and exploring coffee shops around the Twin Cities to blog about. Please do not mind her yellow-stained teeth. She is just one of Minnesota’s greatest coffee enthusiasts.
