About Your Visit

Pediatrics

Good health is important for every family member. That’s why we regularly see newborns, toddlers, kids, and teens at any clinic for primary care. We also offer comprehensive pediatrics-only care—that is, for children ages 18 and under.

Access Your Records

MyChart puts you in the driver’s seat for your healthcare. Access your medical records, email your care team, save and email important documents, and more.

Nurse Line

Our nurses are standing by to help you find the kind of care or clinic you need. Just call 763-581-CARE.

Services & Programs

Newborn, Pediatric, and Adolescent Medicine

Our smallest people tend to be our biggest worries—and are still building their immune systems. We’ll tend to them with the TLC babies, tots, and teens need to set them up for a lifetime of good health.

We believe well-child visits are essential to your kid’s health to monitor their growth as they age. The American Academy of Pediatrics well-child visit schedule is as follows:

3-5 days after birth, 1 month old, 2 months old, 4 months old, 6 months old, 9 months old, 12 months old, 15 months old, 18 months old, 24 months old, 30 months old, 3 years old, yearly thereafter

Academic Underachievement

If your child is struggling academically, cognitively, or behaviorally with school, we have experts waiting to help. North Memorial Health can create individualized, comprehensive plans to address issues your child or children are having with school, social life, or familial issues.

Referrals

We can provide access to all the specialists you may need—such as Ear, Nose, and Throat or podiatry—right on the Maple Grove Hospital campus.

Acute Illnesses

We expect the unexpected. Walk-in and same-day appointments accommodate your kids’ bumps, bruises, and sudden symptoms.

Chronic Diseases

We’re experienced in caring for children with chronic or complex medical conditions, including the coordination of specialist care, collaboration with health care team partners, and creating effective treatment plans.

Developmental Assessment

We provide structured evaluations of your child’s individual development, from the physical to intellectual, social to emotional, and language.

Imaging & Laboratory Services

We’re equipped with on-site lab services, saving time and preserving your child’s confidentiality while a creating a streamlined review process for your child’s health care team. Fast lab and imaging results can give your child a quick diagnosis.

Immunizations & Vaccines

Vaccination is a critical step in protecting those who are most vulnerable to illness—infants and young children, the elderly, and those with chronic conditions and weakened immune systems. Check out the current CDC recommended immunization schedule.

Sports Physicals

A rite of passage for student athletes, our sports physicals include a full review of your child’s health, a full physical, a report to your child’s primary care provider (if not us), and complete any forms required and provided by you or your school for athletic participation.

Transgender

Welcome to healthcare that understands your whole self. North Memorial Health applies national standards of care recommended by the World Professional Association of Transgender Health to our program, from standard primary care to elements unique to transgender care, such as transition and hormone management. We understand the nuances of your care needs and we’re here to help you navigate them.
