Dr. Cowman believes healthcare should be proactive, not reactive, with an emphasis on preventative care. He practices evidence-based medicine with special interests in older adults and men’s health.
Dr. Cowman enjoys getting to know his patients and understanding their values and goals for their health. He defines his role as using his education and training to assist patients with making informed decisions in accordance with their values.

Personal
Outside of medicine, Dr. Cowman enjoys reading, traveling, camping, winter sports, and running. He is a lifelong Vikings fan and a burgeoning Timberwolves fan. He enjoys spending time with family and is always open to new restaurant recommendations.
