Approach To Care

Dr. Alexa Kleist uses a comprehensive, team-based approach, taking time to get to know children and families to build a trust-filled relationship. She partners with families, focusing on active listening and problem solving and works hard to stay current with evidence-based medicine, overall aiming to provide the best care for her patients.

She loves getting to walk alongside children and families and is especially interested in newborn care, early development, breastfeeding support, and healthy lifestyle choices.

Dr. Kleist comes from a family of teachers and values the importance of teaching and learning in medicine, so she brings a guiding and educational approach to her practice. She strives to support children as they build their foundation for a healthy life.

“I focus on serving children and their families and providing compassionate, thorough, and individualized care.”
