Dr. Ahmed’s collective life experiences have led him to become a family physician. At an early age he witnessed firsthand what a profound impact a great family doctor can have on patients and their families.
Dr Ahmed’s approach to care includes providing comprehensive quality care and taking a whole person approach. It is important to meet patients where they are in their medical journey and help them achieve better health outcomes. As a family physician, Dr. Ahmed is well equipped to deal with multifaceted medical problems. He can refer to specialists when needed and be there for patients throughout the multiple stages of delivery of healthcare. He will be there for his patients in times of illness and wellness.
Dr. Ahmed emphasizes the importance of preventive medicine and wellness, which are the cornerstones for a healthy and fulfilling life.

Whenever time permits, Dr. Ahmed likes to go on road trips and travel, learning about countries and languages and seeing how different cultures and customs have evolved over time. His hobbies and interests include reading and creative writing. During his time at the University of Iowa he was able to take creative writing courses at the renowned Iowa Writers’ Workshop and really learn from top notch writers as well. Dr. Ahmed is also an avid sports fan and enjoys playing soccer and basketball. On his time off Dr. Ahmed likes to spend time with his family and friends cherishing the moments life has to offer with loved ones.
