  • Neurologic rehabilitation for adults with acute and chronic neurologic disorders such as stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, ALS, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, and peripheral neuropathy

Our occupational therapy services for adults and pediatrics include:

    • Gross and fine motor skills
    • Functional use of the arm/hand

    • Daily living activities, such as feeding, dressing, medication management, kitchen safety, etc.

  • Educating on compensatory techniques for daily living
  • Designing customized home programs, including sensory diets, and providing equipment recommendations
  • Administering the Cognitive Performance Test (CPT) to assess an adult’s level of independence in their environment

We require physician referrals for outpatient occupational, physical and/or speech therapy services. Typically, referrals are valid for up to one year unless otherwise specified by your physician.

No. North Memorial Health Rehabilitation Therapy Center in Robbinsdale sees adult patients only. North Memorial Health Rehabilitation Therapy Clinic – Maple Grove (South) provides care for both children and adults.

If you are hard of hearing or visually impaired, it is also important to bring your hearing aids and glasses.

We accept most health insurance plans, including Aetna, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota, CIGNA, HealthPartners, Medica, Medicare, PreferredOne, United and many others.

All patients’ insurance is verified prior to starting therapy services.
