Approach To Care

Dr. Halvorsen’s approach to care involves first building trust. She seeks to give patients the best care possible while supporting birthing plans and preferences as much as safely able while supporting patient autonomy.

She also strongly believes in evidence-based care that follows national best practice standards. When birth plans conflict with these, she strives to clearly explain the rationale behind necessary treatments and works with patients and their families to make decisions that are right for them and their unborn child.

Dr. Halvorsen seeks to treat patients the same way she would want to be treated as a patient, or the same way she would like her daughter, mother or friends to be treated.

I'm here to help you and baby safely through delivery while honoring your birth preferences.
