Through open honesty and genuine interest in each individual, Jeremiah Malecek creates an atmosphere without judgment, where a person can feel comfortable to open up to him and discuss those more personal and sensitive topics of their health and wellbeing. There are no topics that are off limits. A person’s story is the key to helping an individual on their personal healthcare journey. Jeremiah takes pride in listening carefully and building a connection that is strong, trusting, and confidential.
In addition to Jeremiah’s special interest in LGBT health, he is completely inclusive and welcomes all cultures, ethnicities, sexualities and ages. Family medicine provides the ability to assist individuals of all ages and backgrounds to provide care to the person as a whole. He enjoys helping individuals achieve their personal health goals through informed and shared decision making. His experience in a holistic physical therapy center prior to PA schooling has furthered his passion for a holistic approach to his care.

Personal
Jeremiah grew up in a very small, rural town in SW MN in a family of semi-truck drivers and farmers. He moved to Duluth, MN for his undergraduate in premed and masters in exercise physiology becoming a first-generation college graduate. During his time there he worked multiple jobs in personal health care, retail, and outdoor recreation. After 7 years calling Duluth home, he moved to the Twin Cities for work and has called the Twin Cities home for the past 9 years.
Here in the Twin Cities, Jeremiah lives in North Minneapolis with his fiancé, dog, and cat. He worked in a rehabilitative skilled nursing care facility and in a holistic physical therapy clinic before returning to school for his master’s in physician assistant studies. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, savoring new cuisine at local eateries, fitness exercising, hiking, biking, swimming, downhill and water skiing, camping, traveling and taking spontaneous road trips. He also enjoys working on house projects, automotive repair/maintenance, landscaping and gardening.
