She believes that a therapeutic relationship is built by listening carefully, asking thorough questions, and making explanations understandable. Ana went into the medical field for the relational nature of medicine and learned that she enjoys the procedural aspect of surgical care as well. She finds great value in collaborating with other practitioners to ensure each patient receives the best care.

Ana’s greatest delight is spending time with her husband and young children. You can often find their family going for walks, playing at parks, and exploring the Twin Cities (donut recommendations are always welcome). In spare moments of quiet, Ana enjoys walking and hiking, reading, planning renovations of her 1970s home, cheering on the Vikings, and sharing a meal or coffee with loved ones.
