Personal

Dr. Oelhafen is a Minnesota native who found her way to California immediately upon high school graduation in order to continue her pursuit of international competitive snowboarding. She later attended the University of California, San Diego. Following this, she relocated to Grenada, West Indies, where she studied medicine and public health and had the keen ability to experience and live within another culture.

Following this extremely pivotal experience, she then relocated to NY/NJ where she studied general surgery for two years. She ultimately decided to return back to Minnesota and to broaden her scope of medical practice, completing a residency in Family Medicine.

Dr. Oelhafen has an absolute love and commitment to the community she serves. She seeks to improve patient-centered care and increase awareness of social and medical inequities which plague many patients. She is outgoing, compassionate, and eager to practice medicine, and she truly considers it a gift to be provided the opportunity to treat those patients she encounters.
