Approach To Care

Jennifer L. Vlach strongly believes that a good support system is an essential component of healing and staying healthy mentally and physically. Jennifer relates to patients as they present to her by respecting their values and ideas about treatment planning. She works well with patients that are motivated to improve coping skills and resolve situations that are interfering with sound mental health.

Jennifer has over 20 years of experience in mental health with training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) programs. Her work has primarily been with adults with both acute and chronic mental health symptoms. Jennifer is intensively trained in DBT and short-term solution focused therapy, incorporating mindfulness principles to reduce stress.
