Nilesh S. Jambhekar, MD

Hospital Medicine
I will listen, empathize, and treat you as I would my family. Let's work together!

Approach To Care

Dr. Jambhekar recognizes how important it is for patients to feel like they can talk to their physicians about anything. That is why he strongly believes in creating a safe environment by prioritizing trust.

Everyone has their own story. His goal is to listen and do his best to understand yours, so you both can work together as a team to come up with solutions that not only address your present concerns, but work into a long term preventative game plan.

Dr. Jambhekar’s personal experiences with his family struggling with serious health issues has given him a uniquely personal perspective. He understands why it is so important for his patients to always feel heard and his diverse experiences reaffirm his philosophy to ALWAYS treat patients the way he would want his own family to be treated. It is why he takes the promise he makes to do his absolute best for his patients and for their family members very seriously.

Personal

When Dr. Jambhekar isn’t at the hospital working with his patients, he loves spending his free time on the lake or at home with his fiancé and his little Maltese dog named Mushu.

He loves learning to cook new dishes. He is also a horology enthusiast, enjoys playing competitive chess and other board games, loves getting involved in local community organizing and social advocacy, exercising, shopping for antiques and traveling to explore new places with his fiancé.

He is always down to hear a great travel story, fun fact or hear your favorite restaurant recommendations. And if you want to show him a cute picture of your pet, he will never say no!
