Hiring Process

Hiring Process Overview
Step 1 – Apply
After you have completed an application, our recruiters will review your background to determine if you meet the qualifications. If you have the qualifications we are looking for, we will email you to schedule a phone interview.
Step 2 – Interviews

Step 5 – Background Check & Health Screen
We will schedule an in-person interview and if selected, extend an offer of employment. Once you have accepted the offer, a pre-employment health assessment and criminal background check will be completed. We will keep you updated throughout the hiring process via email anytime your application status changes.

Programs
The Vizient/AACN Nurse Residency Program™ supports new graduate nurses and nurses with limited experience as they successfully transition from novice or advanced beginners to competent professionals.
Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN) Periop 101: A Core Curriculum™ fully prepares the RN entering the perioperative specialty with up-to-date, evidence-based education regarding safe patient care within the surgical setting.
This course is one day a week, running 9-weeks long, covering multiple important topics needed for competent surgical nursing care.
Gain the knowledge and practical experience to make competent decisions regarding medical and trauma patients in emergent situations. We offer an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Residency Program three times per year. This course follows the standards set forth by the Minnesota EMS Regulatory Board and the National Education Standards.
Successful completion of this course and the National Registry exam will certify you as an EMT. Upon successful completion of the class, you are required to work for North Memorial Health Ambulance (in the region of your choice) for at least one year.

North – Robbinsdale Hospital is a 385 bed Level-1 Trauma Center and Community Hospital.
North – Maple Grove Hospital
North – Maple Grove Hospital is a 134 bed Community Hospital.
