Approach To Care

Dr. Kelsey Overman specializes in fingers, hand, wrist, forearm, elbow, and upper arm. This includes sports-related injuries, work-related injuries, degenerative and rheumatoid arthritis conditions, nerve compression syndromes, and traumatic reconstruction.

The cornerstone of Dr. Overman’s approach to practicing medicine is the concept of treating the patient. “It’s important for me to take the time to really understand what patients’ concerns are and focusing treatment here, versus treating results of an X-ray or MRI,” she said. “By understanding the patient’s goals and lifestyle, I can best help the patient decide on a treatment that will enable optimal function and allow maximal patient satisfaction.”
