Approach To Care
Melissa Thorson is proud to be a part of a strong multidisciplinary team that focuses on patients and returning them to their best health following an unexpected event. She is committed to the advancement of trauma care at a system, local, and national level and cares for patients with minor, moderate or severe trauma injuries.
Melissa is currently the System Director of Trauma & Specialty Care with administrative responsibilities for several areas, including the Level I Trauma Center at North – Robbinsdale Hospital and the Level IV Trauma Program at North – Maple Grove Hospital.
Melissa has served in various capacities in Trauma & Acute Care Surgery and has been with North Memorial Health for over 25 years.
