North Memorial Health Urgent Care – Elk River is open Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., except for the following:
*Closed on New Year’s Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, & Christmas Day
*Open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on New Year’s Eve, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, & Christmas Eve

Primary Care

- Preventive care for the whole family: disease prevention, family planning, health education and promotion, wellness visits, and more.
- Diagnosis and treatment of acute illness such as cold & flu, ear infections, and the like.
- Management of commonly seen chronic conditions, such as asthma, anxiety, COPD, depression, diabetes, hypertension, thyroid dysfunction, and more.
- Vaccines.
- Lab work: blood glucose, blood tests, pap smears, pregnancy, STI testing, urinalysis, and more.
Urgent Care
Because illness doesn’t always make an appointment. North Memorial Health urgent care provide convenient care for inconvenient timing. Open every day (except some holidays) from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. , our five urgent care locations can help with acute illness, diagnosis, and relief, from headaches and cuts to pneumonia and bronchitis.
Urgent care is the place to turn when you need help with:
- Asthma management
- Foreign body removal
- Minor eye injuries/infections/irritations
- Incisions or abscesses
- Sprains and fractures
- Imaging: EKG, X-ray
- Labs: blood glucose, CBC, flu, Mono, pregnancy testing, strep, TB skin test, urinalysis
- Vaccines: Flu, hepatitis, MMR, shingles, and tetanus

North Memorial Health’s Occupational Medicine program has a 25-year tradition of providing industrial medicine, Workers’ Compensation, and workplace injury services to more than 6,000 firms in the Twin Cities. Care is available on a walk-in basis or by appointment, and during convenient weekday, weekend, and evening hours. In addition to our clinic-based offering, we offer services directly at your work site.
